Shallow Soil is Always Revealed by Heat

Join Pastor Travis Hall as he discusses the state of your heart concerning emotional health. The goal of this podcast is to provide you with the tools you need to get started, stay motivated, and finish strong by bringing joy back to life and leadership. In this tale, Jesus uses a shallow type of soil to illustrate his point because a  significant amount of suffering will always result from the heart's shallow soil. At the same time, the three types of stones that compensate for our hearts' weak soil are selfishness, jealousy, and pride.

Jesus Took Your Inferiority and Gave You His Authority

Jesus Took Your Inferiority and Gave You His Authority

So many sons and daughters in the kingdom of God find themselves miserable because of not living out the freedom Christ offers. They may have laid down the bondage of sin, only to replace it with the life-draining bondage of workspace righteousness, to prove to the Father that they are worthy of His love or acceptance. If you resonate with this kind of bondage, join Pastor Travis in this episode as he discusses the wound of inferiority that induces this kind of disposition, what it is and what its signs are. He also shares the transformational truths that liberate and heals all shackles and pain of inferiority.

The Quickest Way To Lose Yourself is To Compare Yourself

The Quickest Way To Lose Yourself is To Compare Yourself

Join Pastor Travis Hall as he talks about the con of comparison, as it is the quickest way to lose yourself. Our world is influenced by social media, which portrays the ideal of the perfect life. Without realizing it, we fall into the quicksand comparison. We compare our actual life, real ministry, and genuine connections to someone else's real life, real ministry, and authentic relationships on social media. Instead of attempting to be someone you're not to get something you already have in Christ, you may recover your original identity in Christ and be who God made you to be once you realize the truth for yourself and your feeling of value. And this reality is the only thing that liberates you to live or lead.

Tune in as he put the spot-on Transformational Truth #78: The quickest way to lose yourself is to compare yourself. So listen with your pen and paper ready because there will be much to take away from this episode.

In this episode, you will learn:

Every person on the earth desires to feel valuable.

Put an end to comparing your development to that of others.

What is the task for which God has created or called you?

How can I tell if I've chosen the wrong goal?

Your value is demonstrated by the cross of Christ, not by man's words.

And so much more!

When Tradition Replaces Truth, Weary Replaces Rested with Mary Felde

Join Pastor Travis Hall in this episode with guest Mary Felde as they explain the significance of the old and the new covenant, why there's a stigma on the topic of righteousness, and the primary lessons that we can take from Romans 10:1-4. In this exchange, Mary helps us understand why we need to minister from the new covenant. "All scriptures are inspired by God," Mary acknowledges. But in addition, Mary believes that—yes, 'we can learn from David, but we must also remember that we don't live in the same covenant as David.'

In this episode you will learn:

· Why is it important to teach from the new covenant?

· Jesus Christ is a platform

· In what model should we see David as an example?

· Righteousness is a relief

· Why do we need to fully understand God's unconditional love?

· …and so much more!

About Mary Felde:

Mary Felde is a bible teacher and missionary since 1996. Her teaching is Jesus-centered, with clear teaching on Christ's finished work, the gospel of God's grace, and the New Covenant. Her heart is to strengthen pastors, evangelists, and Bible teachers to solidify Christ's finished work, which causes more peace, joy, and confidence in life and ministry.

She has lived 7 years in Asia and 6 years in Africa, started two bible schools, and held pastor- and leaders-seminar in many countries. Her book, Living the Better Covenant, is published in 10 languages, with 6 additional languages ready soon. Mature leaders are motivated by commitment rather than convenience with Natalie Runion

Join Pastor Travis Hall in this episode with guest Natalie Runion as they talk about how the appeal for convenience impacts how Christians serve, what's at stake when we confuse the Church's role and her experience on how ministry is not for the faint-hearted. After she shares the story of how the feeling of "hurt" damaged her relationship with the Church, Natalie opens up about how God—no matter how you run away—will always find a way to you.

Tune in as they put the spot on the Transformational Truth #60 - Mature leaders are motivated by commitment rather than convenience with Natalie Runion. Listen with your notes ready because there will be a lot to take away from this episode as you tune in.

In this episode, you will learn:

  • What led to Raised to Stay?
  • What the culture of comfort did to the Christian way of service
  • People of God don't just serve together!
  • Natalie Runion – the Church is not a talent agency
  • Natalie's advice to those who stayed but are hurting…

…and so much more!

About Natalie Runion:

Natalie Runion has been in ministry her entire life. Her parents were full-time pastors, so she was raised in the Church and has spent the past 20 years in full-time ministry as a worship pastor and women's pastor. Her passion is to see every generation who has been raised in the house of God want to stay firmly rooted not only in the local Church but in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

She and her husband moved their small family from Cincinnati, OH, to Colorado Springs in Spring of 2017, where she joined the staff as Worship Pastor at New Life Church. In the Fall of 2018, she had Associate Pastor of Women added to her role. So she has one of the greatest opportunities of her lifetime—to sing over, love, and encourage other women through God's Word and worship.

As she enters into a new 20 years of ministry, the Lord has entrusted her with another unique ministry area with those raised in the Church. This ministry, Raised To Stay, is for those who have been both called and crushed, loved, and sometimes left, welcomed and wounded by the Church, yet our anointing keeps us holding on, pressing in, staying.

Raised to Stay is for those who have stayed. Those who have wandered. It's called home. Not just a physical church building but a call back to our first love, Jesus. Back to our original YES!

Your Greatest Adversity Often Comes Just Before Destiny with Pastor Kevin Wallace

Join Pastor Travis Hall and his guest Pastor Kevin Wallace as they talk about how our own personal pain manipulates us, the lessons from Elijah in 1 King chapter 19 and Paul's encouragement to Timothy, and how we can draw strength from the 'after this' moments of our lives as described in his newly released book After This: God Can Turn Any Season Into a Time of Blessing. Pastor Kevin knows that when the devil fails to kill us with depression, he diverts to other tactics. One is leading us to a place of pride. In this episode you will learn:

· Why Pastor Kevin wrote the book After This: God Can Turn Any Season Into a Time of Blessing

· The Spirit of Truth will guide you out of this

· What is a carnal type of leadership?

· About Chapter 10: Hell in the Hallways

· …and so much more.

About Pastor Kevin Wallace:

He has led the way in caring for the local community, planting a church campus in Uruguay, developing programs to care for human trafficking victims in Guatemala, Romania and Chattanooga through The Zion Project, and has most recently founded the Redemption Preschool, Redemption Kids School of Ministry and Redemption School of Ministry to raise up and release kingdom-minded leaders.

Pastor Kevin is a graduate of Lee University in Cleveland, TN. He travels the world with a gospel message of hope and healing, and he and Deven's greatest honor is enjoying time with their four children: Jeremiah, Isaiah, Zion, Judah, and Genesis.
